On Wednesday 13 December a carol sing-along with a glass of warming mulled wine and mince pies will be held at St Bartholomews Church on Mount Lane from 6.15 to 7.15pm. Thanks to the hard work of our social committee, the Bishop has finally agreed to open the church especially for this occasion. Donations to cover the costs of opening the church and the refreshments will be gratefully received on the night.
We are delighted that Alan Thurlow, retired organist of Chichester Cathedral, will play for us as we come together to sing a selection of favourite carols.
A traditional Christmas meal will then be served from 7.45pm at the Crate and Apple with a glass of prosecco and drinks from 7.15pm. The costs is £20 a head and booking is essential.
Formailities wil be over by 9.30pm but the party will continue until closing time!
