This year the Westgate Street Party will be held on Sunday 2nd July. As usual the Street Party will be organised at the town end of Westgate. As usual, we will close the road from the Westgate Roundabout up to Mount Lane between 0830 and 1900 hours. Peace and quiet for a whole day!
All residents of Westgate, Tollhouse Close, Henty Gardens, Mount Lane, St Bartholomew’s Close and Tannery Close are very welcome to come along and enjoy midday drinks followed by a shared lunch. Bring along some food to share with your neighbours. Tea and coffee will be provided but please bring your own alcohol.
We will hire tables but we do not have enough chairs, so please bring your own (if you need help, please let us know). We have some bunting and a few gazebos but more are always welcome: let us know if you have any to contribute.
To help us cover costs, there will be a charge of £5 per adult, payable in advance to Nikki Clarke. Children 12 and under are free. Please RSVP with payment to Nikki Clarke (of No. 42 Westgate, telephone 785244) giving your Name, House number and Street, No of guests and your email address. Thank you.
